“Supplying hardware in Chorley for over a hundred years!”
Wilcock and Sons was established in 1878 and was run by the same family for over a hundred and twenty years. In 2000 the store was taken over by Arthur Adlam who had worked for the Wilcock family for twenty years.
Ever since it’s beginnings in Victorian England, the store has had the same intentions, to be a ‘one stop shop’ for all your hardware needs, and to provide a friendly, professional service from staff that really know about the business. To this day we have kept to that vision and have a string of very happy customers who can vouch for it.
As an independent hardware store we are able to stock pretty much anything we think may be of use to our customers. We have excellent relationships with a number of respected wholesalers and this really shows in our huge ranges of tools, house ware, kitchen ware and garden ware.
